Karen Kennedy

Karen is a registered architect, Director of Eco-style and accredited Greenstar Professional. Her expertise is in sustainable and disability design.

She was educated in NSW and Tasmania, and has worked in both public and private offices as an Architect and Town Planner.

She is an examiner for the Board of Architects. She sits on the Tasmanian Property Agents Tribunal and is an advising delegate on the Tasmanian Planning Commission. Karen has served as Australian Institute of Architects State Chapter Councillor and as a judge on several Australian Institute of Architects Awards juries and taught design at TAFE .

Karen loves to bushwalk, sail, surf, kayak and travel. She reads constantly, writes lists for everything, gardens, renovates, paints and cooks for pleasure.

She is passionate about design and people and believes her way of making a difference is by creating buildings which improve people's quality of life.

Jane Hilliard

Jane Hilliard studied at Utas and is a qualified Designer and Certifier in Bush Fire Risk Areas and an architectural designer with over 10 years experience.   She has been with Eco-style since 2008.   Jane has designed in a range of climates from tropical north Queensland to sub alpine Tasmania.  Jane is intrigued by people and how they live, and believes that sustainability is a lifestyle that should be integrated in all architecture and the way we live.

Jane lives and breathes all things designed.  When not designing buildings, she paints, designs and makes clothing and apparel.

Wendy Hastie

Wendy Hastie has been an architectural and structural drafting technician with Eco-style since 2008 and has nine years experience working with international and national structural engineering companies.  Wendy’s expertise is in everything structural and detailed.  She is the office perfectionist and manages our systems and procedures.  

Her other love is fashion and her wardrobe is a work of art.

Dominic Anastasio

Dominic Anastasio Is a student architect who has worked with Eco-style in the Uni breaks since 2010.   He is a whiz at computer graphics and 3-D modeling.  He has an eye for design and flair for social media and graphics.
