About Karen Kennedy

Karen is a registered architect, accredited Greenstar Professional and Director/Owner of Eco-style.
She was educated in NSW and Tasmania, and has worked in both public and private offices as a Town Planner and Architect. She has served as Tasmanian RAIA State Chapter Councillor, Chair of the State Membership Committee, Chair of the Women in Architecture committee and taught design at TAFE. Karen has served as a judge on the SWT Blythe, the James Blackburn Triennial Awards and RAIA Tasmanian Chapter Awards juries and as an examiner for the Board of Architects.

After extensive world travel she settled in Tasmania 22 years ago, raised her family in Hobart and launched Eco-style in 2007. In less than four years Eco-style has expanded to include a range of design, advisory and consulting services for land development and the built environment.

Our Network

Eco-style has a strong network of external consultants, specialist experts and practitioners enabling us to access a broad range of information to provide the best possible solutions for your project. We seek their involvement early in the project creating integrated, cohesive outcomes.
